Florent Bachelard

Bonjour!

I was born and raised in France. I always loved spending time with children. It's a passion! First, I started as a baby sitter: I read stories before children went to bed. Then, I accompanied children in summer camps, I organized games, activities, and I shared their everyday life. I realized I could make a difference in children's life, and I decided to become a special educator.

I studied in Reims (The capital of Champagne!) and I received my diploma (eq. to a bachelors degree in science education. I devoted myself to learn the French sign language, and to teach hearing impaired children. I continued to work as a camp counselor during my vacations, first as an activity leader and general counselor, then as director.

Another passion of mine is music. I play the piano, guitar and saxophone, and I never miss an opportunity to share this passion with children and adults.

My wife's career brought us to New haven. The Aux 3 Pommes language program provided me with the exciting opportunity to use all my abilities and skills to teach my language and culture to your children, and to share my passion with them.

I always look forward to meet your children and to spend with them a fun and enriching time.
