Jerome Baudet

Bonjour!

I was born and raised in France. I grew up in Yerres, a charming little town near Paris. When I was little, my parents encouraged me to discover other cultures, and during my teenage years, I spent a lot of time in England and Ireland in full immersion programs. Now, married to an American women, I had the opportunity to move to the United States where she is pursuing a Ph.D. in French Literature at Yale. While getting to know people at Yale and in New Haven, I have discovered that many were strongly interested in improving their language skills or simply sharing their passion for France, and I am excited to help.

Before moving to New Haven, I worked for an international CPA firm based in Paris for over 8 years and have brought with me a long experience in corporate accounting and finance. I had the opportunity to help clients from other countries learn about France and French in both professional and social ways. I quickly realized that teaching is not a one-way street, but an interactive process that enables both the teacher and students cross borders through language.

By becoming a part of the Aux 3 Pommes team, I hope to join in their love for sharing your interest in foreign language and culture, and am eager to help you with your business and personal linguistic needs.
