| About our Japanese Teacher
YOKO KARATO I was born and grew up in Tokyo, Japan. After I got married I lived in Canberra, Australia for three years. I moved to Minnesota in 1989. I taught Japanese and Japanese Literature for highschool students at Minnesota Japanese School. I moved to New Haven, Connecticut in 2004. I love nature, gardening, and spending time with kids. I also love to learn new languages.      |
