Nora Kolbi

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and emmigrated to the US with my family at the age of eight.

One might say I learned English through the "full immersion"approach, since everyone outside my home spoke only English and my parents expected us to do the same.

It was a gift to have learned a second language at an age when I was open and free of adult inhibitions, yet conscious of the process. I became fascinated with languages and later studied Spanish, French, Hebrew and linguistics.

I received a BS in education from CUNY and have taught both children and adults. I love language and I love teaching and am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach at Aux Trois Pommes
