Marzia Pisoni
Ciao!
My name is Marzia. Iwas born in Trento, a small town in the north of Italy, surrounded by beautiful mountains (the Dolomites) and lakes. Historically, Trento, founded by the Romans about 2000 years ago, has always been a cultural crossroad, due to its geographical position close to German speaking countries: Austria and Germany.
I graduated in economics at the University of Trento in 1999. In 2007, I moved to Connectcut with my husband who works at Yale University.
During my college studies, I taught high school students different subjects: Mathematics, economics and accounting. After graduating, I taught accounting at a private school in Treento (Scuola Tridentum).
Learning a language is not merely understanding words and being able to repeat them. I believe that it also promotes a better understanding of different cultures. This is important for everybody, children and adults, because this knowledge helps keeping an open-minded and positive attitude about the world.
I will be happy to work with you and your children
A presto,
Marzia
