About our German Teacher:
Natalie Neumann-Roitzsch
I was born and raised in Germany, where I graduated with a degree in Educational Sciences at the University of Dortmund. In Germany I worked with children and adults in all kinds of education, e.g. in occupational retraining classes, in an environmental center and in a youth center. I also taught German to foreigners and prepared them for writing resumes and having interviews.
I have lived in New Haven for one year now, as my husband has been researching at Yale. We have a 15-month-old daughter, who hopefully will learn speaking English and German at the same time. We believe that speaking foreign languages is increasingly important in a globalized world.
I have always enjoyed working with both, children and adults. Now I am excited that Aux Trois Pommes has given me the opportunity to teach the German language and culture to both groups and to show that Germany is more than just leather trousers, dumplings and knuckle of pork. I look forward to working with you and having fun together.
Natalie Neumann-Roitzsch,
German Teacher
