ESL Program

We are proud to announce that we have added a new service to our students . English as a Second Language is now offered to adult professionals who would like to become proficient in the language. Lauren Brown is a highly qualified teacher of ESL who is currently enrolled, as a student, at Aux 3 Pommes in an advanced conversational Spanish class. Her knowledge of several languages is a precious tool to teach English to adults from various countries.

LAUREN BROWN

 I hold a State of Connecticut Endorsement for teaching English to non-English-Speaking-Adults and I currenty teach at New Haven Adult Education. I have studied French, Italian, German, and a little bit of Dutch; I am now also learning Spanish at Aux 3 Pommes. This experience, which I am thoroughly enjoying, is proving valuable in reminding me how a students feels on the other side of the table.

I have always loved languages and loved teaching, so teaching ESL gives me the best of both worlds! I enjoy working on an individual or small group basis wit those who want to master either the basics or the advanced details of our fascinating language.
