Our landlord, Yale University Properties, has decided not to renew our lease on Audubon, for reasons still unknown to us. We will be operating from our new location in New Haven starting June 23, 2008. We appreciate your support and understanding.

Lisa Rothstein, our New Haven administrator, has been instrumental in the opening of this new location. Prior to Aux Trois Pommes, Lisa co-founded a pre-school in Madison, CT. She will be happy to answer any of your questions on our programs.

Learning another language, in an enthusiastic atmosphere, with an added cultural flair is what impressed me most about Aux Trois Pommes. Children and adults alike are finding our multisensory and immersion program approach fun and successful.

Joining the Aux Trois Pommes staff has been wonderful. I am particularly enjoying working in the Audubon neighborhood, downtown New Haven's hub of cultural and performing arts for children and young adults.

I wish that I could speak a multitude of languages, but I cannot. Hopefully my conversatonal French skills will improve while working amongst such wonderful staff members. I saw a bumper sticker just as I became involved with Aux Trois Pommes. It read, "monolinguilism can be cured". Given time, I can correct that for myself!

Hello! I was born and raised in a small town near Frankfurt, Germany.  During my highschool years I enjoyed taking French and Spanish and, of course, English which is mandatory.  With my love for foreign languages it only seemed natural for me to become a Foreign Language Correspondent.  After working at an international advertising agency for a number of years (which again exposed me to all kinds of different languages and cultures) I moved to Connecticut with my husband who is American.  Unfortunately, throughout the years I've lost most of my French and Spanish and I hope by being part of Aux 3 Pommes I can change that again.  It is very exciting for me to not only be able to speak German again on a daily basis but also to be part of such an interesting environment.

Administrative and Financial Information

Classes for Children and Adults in New Haven

Aux Trois Pommes programs run on a term basis. We will offer a Fall, Winter/Spring term, which will be followed by our Summer immersion program.

Each class will have up to 6 students per teacher.

Program	Fees
One-hour enrichment	$25/hr
Two-hour immersion once a week, OR Two one-hour sessions per week.	$22/hr
Two-hour immersion twice a week (4 hours)	$20/hr
Private lessons	$40/hr
Adult group (1.5 hours)	$40/1.5hrs

Children class group (1.5 hours)

$35/1.5hrs

Parent and child class (1 hour)

$65/hr

*There is a 5% dicount offered towards a class if there are siblings enrolled at Aux 3 Pommes or if a student is enrolled in more than 1 program.

A $25/per family registration fee is required once per school year .

Payments are due at the beginning of each term. All fees are non-refundable unless classes are cancelled for insufficient enrollment.

Please note: Although we will observe public school vacations and holidays, we do not follow other school closures such as: 90-min. delays, minimum days and parent/teacher conferences.

Classes not held due to inclement of weather or instructor absence will be rescheduled. A credit will be issued if classes cannot be made up. Refunds will be issued if due to insufficient enrollment.


Classes For Adults in New Haven

Adult classes are offered as an 8 week session. Beginner, Intermediate and conversational levels in all languages are available upon demand. The classes are one and a half hour long for the total cost of $320.00 per session. Morning and evening classes are available. Enrollment is based on a minimum of 3 students. Aux Trois Pommes reserves the right to cancel classes if minimum enrollment is not met.
